Applications of BBa_K215011

This BioBrick generates the nerve agent-degrading enzyme OpdA as a fusion protein that gets secreted from the cell (if coexpressed with part K215210 or K215211). Use this BioBrick when you need to degrade nerve agents in the environment. If these BioBricks are coexpressed with part K215210 or K215211, then OpdA should stick to the surface of the cell, and purified OpdA can be generated using the [http://2009.igem.org/Team:Washington Ideal Protein Purification System].
